One mind in Christ

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

I've been accused of causing Division. I want to tell people that I have been trying to focus people on the word of God. Divisions already exist and have since the first century. God doesn't want us to vary on theories about Jesus, about the rapture, about who Jesus is, about tithing, about baptism, about the infilling of the Holy Ghost, speaking in tongues, to be of a single mind and let there be no divisions. That we speak the same things.

MATTHEW 24:9-14

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

I believe that more and more persecution will come to those that speak the truth, yes, you will be shunned, you will be put out, you will be threatened, you'll lose friends, you'll lose family members, you'll lose relationships. This will come more and more from people that claim to be Christians.

MATTHEW 10:34-36

Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

I have found more bias within the church than without. I do believe in unity

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

But we cannot come together and say it's okay if you believe a lie as long as we both believe that Jesus died and rose again, it's okay.

instead we are told to do this:

I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Why would it matter?

MATTHEW 7:13-14

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

This is not a legalistic doctrine, this is simply saying that there is only one way. That way is in the bible. There are many denominations, but thankfully one bible. There are many Christians that say many different things. But there again is one bible, one truth, only one way to be saved, not by human words. It doesn't matter what any person tells you, let God be true and every man a liar, believe your bible and no one else, not even me. Trust God and his word, alone. There are many translations, but the basic Christian truths are in all translations. What I fear are those, and there are Christians even that do not trust the word of God. I say don't trust your preacher, trust God's word, I say don't trust what anyone has to say, trust the bible. Put God's word above your Church, above your pastor, above your priest, above your rabbi, your teacher, your mentor, minister, your boss, your friends, and even your parents and your relationships.

MATTHEW 7:21-23

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity
